Case Study - Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka's declaration of bankruptcy in 2022 has major implications for the country and its citizens. Students will learn about economic contractions, loss of investor confidence, austerity measures, debt defaults, and social unrest. Students will learn and experience first-hand how governments and their international partners work together to resolve the debt crisis.
